As our senior students embrace their final term of the year, the Music Department proudly celebrated their hard work and musical growth with a dazzling evening of performances. On Tuesday 14 October, the Heagarty Room came alive, transformed into a stylish cabaret setting where family and friends gathered to enjoy an evening of exceptional talent, warm atmosphere, and wonderful music.
Students from Years 10–12 took to the stage to showcase their skills on guitar, piano, violin, and voice, performing an exciting range of musical styles. Each performance reflected the dedication, creativity, and confidence our students have developed through the Instrumental Music Program. The audience was also treated to a high-energy guest performance by ‘Rock Band’, which added a lively and dynamic finale to the night’s entertainment.
A special moment of the evening was the heartfelt thank you to Magdalen G (12A4) and Chloe F (12M2) for their outstanding leadership and contribution as Performing Arts Captains in 2025. We also celebrated the announcement of our 2026 Performing Arts Captains, Olivia T (11L5) and Lara E (11A4), who will continue to inspire and lead with passion.
Congratulations to all performers for their courage, talent, and dedication. The evening was a true celebration of music, creativity, and community spirit. We can’t wait to continue the celebrations at the Years 7–9 Performance Evening on Tuesday 11 November!
